Through this final round of funding, DHCS prioritized the remaining gaps in the behavioral health continuum, mental health community residential and crisis settings, distribution of funds to rural/remote areas with outstanding behavioral health needs, geographic areas with no prior BHCIP infrastructure projects, and regional models.
