Clifton Court Forebay Predation Study - Fish Sampling

This dataset is part of the Clifton Court Forebay Predation Study, a multi-year effort led by the California Department of Water Resources to understand the behavior and movement of predatory fishes and fish-eating birds within Clifton Court Forebay. The broader study supports requirements outlined in the 2009 National Marine Fisheries Service Biological Opinion and aims to evaluate conditions that contribute to fish predation risk. This dataset contains data on predatory fish which were collected during the 2013-2018 CCFPS studies. Fish were captured using hook and line or gillnet sampling. Fish were assessed for previous tags, weighed and fork length measured and implanted with PIT tags and floy tags, some fish were implanted with Acoustic Tags.
